This Trippin' promises to be quite a treat. Stanton O'Neil taught history in Deland for 37 years. Upon retiring he decided to continue teaching in a new way! He takes people on a 6 block, walking tour of downtown Deland. But WAIT...there's more! Stan has written songs to go with the things we will see during our 20 stops! This and Stan's other tours, have been rated on Trip Advisor as a top tour activity! This tour, which is OFFICIALLY named Decades Downtown History and Music; advertised: "Explore downtown Deland through decades of history ad music. It has 20 LIVE MUSIC STOPS at various points performed by Stanton O'Neil, tour guide, re-enactor and musician. It's the perfect blend of music, history, architecture and a touch of humor...fascinating and entertaining."

On Friday, February 6th, meet with Stan and other LIFE at UCF members as we sing (and dance?) through the historic downtown area! We will meet at the mural in Pioneer Park at 9:45am. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.

There is free parking at Pioneer Park on Woodland, Blvd.

The cost of this Trippin' event is $18 and is inclusive of gratuity/donation. To receive a refund, you must cancel this event no later than January 15th, 2026. After that date, only If someone on the wait list is willing and able to make a reservation, will you receive a refund.

PRO TIP: Many LIFE member who attend Trippin’ events keep copies of the waiver in their car, either in the glove compartment or in the space on the back of the driver’s or passenger sheet; that way one will always be handy!
