A couple of years ago we had a Trippin' to Midway Airboat Rides. It was so popular, we have decided to do it again! A ride on an airboat is an incredible thing! the wind whipping by as you literally fly over the water. It's also very loud! Because of that, your Midway Boat Captain will give you headphones that diminished the sound greatly. The cool thing about these headphones, not only can you hear what the Captain is saying while zooming through water, plants and trees! You can even ask him questions, since the headphones have a microphone! All airboat captains are great at spotting birds and other wildlife while on your journey...did I say "gators?" They will be there grinning at you!!!

Dress for the weather. Sunscreen is always a good idea, as is a water bottle.

The date of this event in Christmas, Florida is September 12th. The time 9:30AM (but we are requested to get there at 9:00. There is plenty of parking on site. While you wait to be checked in by your Trippin' Committee Member, you can visit with the critters that Midway has in their little gift shop. After the ride, prepare to hold a live gator!!!!! Great picture opportunity!

Of course you WILL need a waiver for this Trippin' event. You do not need your confirmation for this event, but you WILL need to bring the filled out waiver form available at: https://lifeatucf.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/LIFE-Trip-Waiver.pdf This form is also accessible under the Trippin' through LIFE drop down menu on our lifeatucf.org website.

The total amount for this Trippin' through LIFE event is $50. It includes all fees as well as the gratutiy for your boat captain. Refunds will only be offered if you cancel your reservation by September 2. After that time, you will only receive a refund if there is a wait list and someone on that list is willing and able to take your place.
